Riegelwood, NC (WWAY) — Men & Women United for Youth & Families will host a Community Housing Education Expo on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ransom Activity Center, 2694 General Howe Highway, Riegelwood.
The free event will connect residents with resources on first-time homebuying, home improvement loans, fair housing rights, weatherization programs, and protecting family land and farms.
The Land Loss Prevention Project and Legal Aid will offer information on preserving homes, land and farms. Habitat for Humanity will share eligibility requirements for its homeownership program and details on a new Habitat neighborhood planned for the area…
