New Hanover County officials urge preparedness as tropical activity eyes Carolinas

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY-TV) — As officials continue to monitor the tropical activity in the Atlantic, New Hanover County officials held a news conference at its Emergency Operations Center on Friday to outline preparation plans and what residents need to do now.

County leaders said they are closely watching the potential for any threats associated with a tropical storm or hurricane.
