WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, N.C. (WECT) – Traffic in Wrightsville Beach is expected to be affected by the YMCA Sprint Triathlon this weekend.
According to the town, residents and businesses in the following areas will be most impacted by the event:
- Causeway Drive (Hwy 76)
- Old Causeway Drive
- Dock Street
- Seacrest Drive
- Keel Street
- Short Street
- Marina Street.
The town stated that traffic may be directed by Wrightsville Beach police officers toward the boat ramp area and underneath the drawbridge.
Eastbound traffic entering Wrightsville Beach and westbound traffic exiting the beach will be detoured to Highway 74/Salisbury Street…
