WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The Good Shepherd will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of its Night Shelter on Oct. 2.
The Night Shelter opened in 2005 and remains the only facility of its kind in southeastern North Carolina, according to Good Shepherd.
The shelter reports having provided over 600,000 nights of safe rest as well as stability, safety, and a bridge to permanent housing to thousands of adults and children over the last 20 years…
