BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – A man was arrested after allegedly leading officers on a chase throughout Brunswick County.
Paul Allen Pigg was arrested on Oct. 1 by the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO). BCSO states that the Boiling Spring Lakes Police Department assisted in the chase.
According to court records, Pigg is facing the following charges:
- Flee to Elude Arrest with Motor Vehicle (Felony)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Misdemeanor)
- Violation of a Domestic Violence Protective Order (Misdemeanor)
- Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign or Flashing Red Light (infraction)
- Driving While Impaired (Misdemeanor)
- Driving While License Revoked for Impaired Driving (Misdemeanor)
- Driving When Registration Plate is not Displayed (Misdemeanor)
- Failure to Carry a Valid Driver’s License (Infraction)
