Man charged in connection to hit-and-run that seriously injured moped driver

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A man has been charged in connection to a hit-and-run that left a moped driver hospitalized with serious injuries.

According to the Wilmington Police Department (WPD), officers arrested 39-year-old Kevin Lee-y Green in connection with the case on Saturday, Oct. 11. He was later released on a $15,000 secured bond.

Arrest warrants state that Green was charged with felony hit and run resulting in serious injury and driving with a revoked license.
