Wilmington to plant over 600 new trees starting in November

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The City of Wilmington will begin planting more than 600 new trees across the city next month.

“The effort replaces aging and hazardous trees, making way for a healthier, more resilient urban canopy,” the City of Wilmington Parks & Recreation stated in a Facebook post.
