First Alert Forecast: reinforcing shot of crisp fall weather to follow Sunday night cold front

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – After a gorgeous and warming autumn weekend, a Sunday night cold front will bring a 50% chance for a gusty shower. Following the front: expect clearer skies and temperatures deep in the 50s Monday morning, sunny and brisk lower 70s Monday afternoon, and starry and chilly upper 40s Monday night.

This week in the tropics: a disturbance settled in the Caribbean Sea has a medium chance to develop into a storm. While this feature poses no definable threat to the Carolinas, your First Alert Weather Team will, of course, monitor it. The next 2025 Atlantic storm name is Melissa.
