Forty years ago this month, horror movie fans around the country got to see werewolves run wild on the streets of Wilmington.
“Silver Bullet,” which filmed in numerous locations around Southeastern North Carolina, hit theaters Oct. 11, 1985, under the banner of Paramount Pictures. It was co-produced by Dino and Martha De Laurentiis, whose DEG studios had just opened in Wilmington in 1984.
