WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The daughter of a 60-year-old woman charged with robbing a credit union said her mother’s addiction issues and trouble overcoming her criminal record pushed her to commit the crime.
Rhonda West was arrested last week after investigators said she stole $5,440 from the State Employees’ Credit Union on Sanders Road in Wilmington on Oct. 9.
