NHCS Superintendent addresses school meal program amid government shutdown

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – New Hanover County Schools Superintendent Dr. Christopher Barnes sent a statement to families on Wednesday addressing the future of the county’s school meal program during the federal government shutdown.

In the statement emailed to families on Oct. 30, Dr. Barnes confirmed that the county’s school meal program will continue to operate without disruption.
