Wilmington, N.C. – Residents across southeastern North Carolina and northeastern South Carolina should brace for a chilly start to the weekend as a Frost Advisory remains in effect through 10 a.m. Saturday. Overnight lows dipping into the mid-30s could damage sensitive outdoor plants, especially in inland areas.
According to the National Weather Service office in Wilmington, temperatures as low as 36 degrees are expected across inland Pender County, North Carolina, and Marlboro County, South Carolina.
