Start November deliciously at Wilmington area restaurants

Happy Halloween to all of the foodies doing something deliciously spooky today. And while October may be coming to an end, the fun doesn’t. I counted about a dozen or so food-focused events happening this weekend, and even more on my friend John Staton’s weekly list. Check it out below.

On the schedule

Have a tasty time: Halloween segues into Day of the Dead celebrations on Saturday. And there’s lots more happening, too. I, for one, will be trying all of the samples at the Taste of Wrightsville Beach. (I’ll post some of them to the Port City Foodies Instagram page!) Plus, there’s this list of weekend events. And word has it that there will be some fun at the nightclub portion of a new business, that also includes a newly opened breakfast and brunch restaurant. There might too much going on?

Planning ahead: Thanksgiving planning is well underway. If you need some help, here’s a list of restaurants that will be open for the holiday. And those offering order-ahead meals.
