CAROLINA BEACH, N.C. (WECT) – The Town of Carolina Beach is advising residents to watch for flooding during the week because of higher-than-normal tides.
A super full moon will raise tides until Nov. 10, potentially closing some roads when flooding starts.
The National Ocean Service says that “higher than normal tides typically occur during a new or full moon and when the moon is at its perigee, or during specific seasons around the country.”…
