Brunswick County man sentenced up to 10 years in prison for drug trafficking

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A Brunswick County man was convicted of trafficking methamphetamine, trafficking fentanyl, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

James Broome pled guilty and a Brunswick County Superior Court Judge sentenced him to at least 7 and a half years in prison with a maximum sentence of 10 years. Broome was also ordered to pay a $150,000 fine.
