On November 10, 2025, CFPUA will start an infrastructure project to improve water and sewer services in the Town of Wrightsville Beach. The work will occur from the 2000 block of Eastwood Road to Summer Rest Road. New mains will be installed under the Intracoastal Waterway.
During construction, the right westbound lane of Wrightsville Avenue/Eastwood Road will close at times on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pedestrian traffic on the Cross City Trail will be detoured…
