NEW HANOVER COUNTY (WWAY) — 18-year-old Elijah Lesine faced multiple charges for bringing a weapon to campus last month.
Prosecutors made a deal with his attorney to drop a stolen firearm charge but plead guilty to two misdemeanors — “carrying a concealed weapon” and “bringing a weapon onto school property.”
But they couldn’t agree on whether the 45-day suspended sentence that comes with each charge would be consolidated or served consecutively…
