Wanted man arrested following traffic stop in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – One man has been arrested after a traffic stop on Thursday near Wilmington Christian Academy.

According to the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office (NHCSO), deputies performed a traffic stop on Nov. 20 at the intersection of College Road and Kenningston Street.

During the traffic stop, a passenger identified as Terrance Kelly left the scene on foot. NHCSO confirmed that he had multiple felony warrants for possession of a firearm by a felon.
