WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A man was arrested outside a Marine Ball at the Wilmington Convention Center after court records say he showed up wearing a bulletproof vest with a knife strapped to it.
Investigators say Craig Cook, 57, threatened a police officer with the knife during the encounter Friday, Nov. 21. Records state investigators believe he was intoxicated at the time.
