VIDEO: Driver in custody after police chase crosses Cape Fear Memorial Bridge

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – An afternoon police chase that began with a report of a stolen motor vehicle ended near the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol (NCSHP).

The Wilmington Police Department (WPD) says on Friday, Nov. 28, around 3:53 p.m., officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle with a dog inside taken from a convenience store on Carolina Beach Road.
