WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A developer planning to purchase a plot of city-owned land in downtown Wilmington and turn it into a grocery store is no longer pursuing the deal.
One year ago, on Dec. 3, the Wilmington City Council approved a $1.7 million bid from Cape Fear Holdings for the proposed grocery store development at 305 Chestnut St.
