The Oak Island Town Council has released the agenda for its regular meeting on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers on the second floor of Town Hall at 4601 E. Oak Island Drive. Residents who want to speak during the general comment period can sign up before the meeting starts.
The agenda includes the swearing-in of newly elected officials as the first item under New Business. The Council will select a Mayor Pro Tempore for 2026 and appoint a representative to the Cape Fear Council of Governments. The 2026 meeting schedule will also be discussed.
