Wilmington, NC – Cold rain and rising tides combine for a tricky Monday across coastal North Carolina, where the National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory through 2 p.m. Minor flooding is expected in downtown Wilmington, especially near the Cape Fear River and USS North Carolina.
By late morning, water levels are expected to rise up to half a foot above ground level in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.
