NEW HANOVER COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – A man accused of killing his mother, sister and son has pleaded guilty.
Wilbert Lamont Robinson appeared in court on Wednesday, Dec. 10, and took a guilty plea for three counts of second-degree murder, with the state dismissing the first-degree murder and firing into-a-vehicle charges.
In January 2022, Robinson shot his mother, Diretta, and his sister, Trina, in the head. He shot his 13-year-old son six to seven times in the neck and head. The shooting happened inside a car in the parking lot of the Landfall Center shopping complex in Wilmington…
