Multi-county drug investigation leads to six arrests

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Multiple people were arrested following a several-month long investigation that spanned multiple counties in southeastern North Carolina.

According to the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office (NHCSO), its Vice and Narcotics Division investigated suspects operating in New Hanover, Brunswick and Duplin counties.

NHCSO said detectives executed search warrants on Nov. 13 at 1109 East Stewart Circle and 1113 East Stewart Circle in Wilmington. During the search, detectives seized:

  • 70 grams of fentanyl (2.5 oz)
  • 30 grams of oxycodone
  • Two handguns
  • One sawed-off shotgun
  • One pistol “switch”

That same day, the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 256 Iron Mine Road in Wallace and seized:

  • 534 grams of fentanyl (19 oz)
  • 132 grams of crack cocaine (4.7 oz)
  • Five firearms
  • Bushmaster AR-15 .223
  • Mini Drako “AK Style” .762
  • Glock 19, Taurus .40
  • Palmetto semi-automatic rifle

In New Hanover County, three people were arrested and charged:

  • Marqueice Graham
  • 11 counts of trafficking opium
  • Five counts of conspiracy to traffic opium/heroin
  • Possession of a firearm by a felon
  • Additional charges
  • Jewelyus McCall
  • 13 counts trafficking opium
  • Five counts conspiracy to traffic opium/heroin
  • Possession of a weapon of mass destruction
  • Additional charges
  • Troy Givens
  • Two counts trafficking opium
  • Two counts of conspiracy to traffic opium/heroin
  • Additional charges

Graham is being held on a $1.5 million secured bond, McCall is being held under no bond and Givens is being held on a $110,000 secured bond…
