North Carolina’s – Murder Mystery – Dinner Train Ride

In the heart of North Carolina, where a rich tapestry of history and culture intersects with beautiful landscapes, there lies an intriguing, fascinating, and breathtaking collection of historic scenic train rides, from the popular Great Smoky Mountains Railroad and Tweetsie Railroad to the New Hope Valley Railway and even excursions offered by the North Carolina Transportation Museum.

Unfortunately, there are currently no murder mystery dinner trains offered throughout the Tarheel State. However! The City of Burgaw, home to the state’s oldest surviving train depot, completed in 1850, hosts a muder mystery dinner experience on the grounds on September 20, 2025 beginning at 7 PM.
