WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Hundreds of people gathered at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church on Tuesday to honor and remember the life of Dr. Bertha Boykin Todd, who died at the hospital on December 2nd.
Dr. Todd was what many called an icon in Wilmington. During her celebration of life, speakers and preachers touched on her incredible accomplishments. They focused on her grace, strength, and courage.
