A former Connecticut resident was arrested early Tuesday morning after striking and killing a 31-year-old man in a crash outside a bar in Wilmington, N.C., police said.
Michelle Masiello, 34, was charged with felony death by motor vehicle, driving while impaired, reckless driving and injury to real property, according to the Wilmington Police Department.
Police identified the deceased pedestrian as Alec Chambers, 31. Officials said he was fatally injured while standing near the edge of a parking lot along Greenfield Street.
