SOUTHPORT, N.C. — The suspect in a deadly mass shooting at a Southport waterfront bar has been indicted, court records show.
Nigel Edge was arrested Sept. 28 in connection with the shooting at American Fish Company that left three people dead and injured several others.
A true bill of indictment was issued Jan. 8. Edge faces multiple charges, including three counts of first-degree murder, two counts of attempted first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury, and discharging a firearm into an occupied property.
