WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – “People Pets Plants Pipes” cold is ahead for Thursday night with temps and wind chills bottoming in the lower 20s and 10s, respectively, by daybreak Friday. Sunshine will support a rebound to the 40s Friday and 60s Saturday, but another cold snap – possibly including a rain or snow shower – advances for Sunday… with temps settling back into the 30s and 40s for the MLK holiday.
A frigid front will bring wind chills as low as 15 early Friday. Temps will spike to the 60s Saturday ahead of the next wintry front Sunday. That one’s worth watching for snow, but it’s not the perfect setup for the Cape Fear. Keeping expectations on the lower end for now… pic.twitter.com/NtclpaUsiL
