Four County EMC issues alert as temperatures drive energy demand

BURGAW, N.C. (WECT) – Four County Electric Membership Corporation (Four County EMC) is advising members to cut back on electricity use Monday morning due to extreme cold temperatures causing record-high energy demand.

Four County EMC says energy levels are expected to peak between 4 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Feb. 2.
