WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Nearly 30,000 North Carolinians are living with kidney failure, but only a quarter of them received a transplant in 2024.
DonKiya Robinson Dailey is among those still waiting. The Wilmington mother has end-stage kidney failure and is searching for a living kidney donor to save not only her life, but to ensure she can continue caring for her medically fragile daughter.
