LELAND, N.C. (WECT) – The Leland Town Council held a special meeting on Monday, Feb. 9, to seek a legal opinion on a recent purchase made by a council member.
The meeting was held to discuss an email sent to the entire council about the purchase of a personal item and to seek a legal advisory opinion from the town attorney.
