The developer of a multi-use project at the corner of Market Street and Kerr Avenue in Wilmington has confirmed that a popular, longtime pizza restaurant will return as part of the plan.
The North 17 Shopping Center, which dates to 1954, has been home to Elizabeth’s Pizza since 1987. Construction has started to turn the former one-story shopping center into a five-story mixed-use building with retail space on the ground floor and 55 residential units above, to be called The Grove on Market.
