Brunswick County man facing up to life in prison for drug charges

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – A Brunswick County man has pleaded guilty to drug crimes.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of North Carolina, John Broadway sold fentanyl to a Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) confidential informant while a small child was present at his house.

BCSO searched his home and found “methamphetamine, fentanyl, $8,800 and 18 guns,” the U.S. Attorney’s Office said…
