PENDER COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – The Pender County Board of Commissioners did not advance a resolution to draft new commissioner district maps at its Monday, March 2, meeting after two separate motions failed to carry.
The redistricting question had been continued from the board’s Jan. 20, 2026, meeting to allow staff additional time to gather information and evaluate options.
