WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The Historic Wilmington Foundation (HWF) has announced the 2026 Azalea Festival Home Tour to celebrate the foundation’s 60th anniversary of preserving the city’s historic character.
The Azalea Festival Home Tour gives visitors a chance to explore some of the city’s historic private residences. This year, it features a selection of homes on the south side of downtown, from Market to Queen streets and from South Sixth Street to the Cape Fear River.
“The Home Tour is more than a chance to see beautiful historic homes,” said Carol Bullock, executive director of the Historic Wilmington Foundation. “It’s a celebration of Wilmington’s story and the community members who have worked for 60 years to protect the historic character that makes our city so special.”…
