On Monday, March 3, 2026, at about 7:10 PM, Winnabow Rescue Engine 671 with Captain Albosta, Lieutenant Butchello, and Firefighters Mintz, Corbett, and B. Jones responded to an auto accident at Green Hill Rd and Highway 17. They were joined by the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, Brunswick County EMS, and State Highway Patrol.
At the same time, Winnabow Engine 675 handled a medical assistance call in Winnabow with Firefighters Reshetar, Roberts, and Kerns. Another crew with Engine 674 remained on standby in case more help was needed…
