WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – You’ve probably walked or driven along Market Street many times. It is a busy road in Wilmington. But it hasn’t always been, it looked a lot different back in the 1700s.

“If you were here in the colonial period, you would’ve walked out what is now the Burgwin-Wright house and seen a pretty big stream,” said Burgwin-Wright House assistant museum director Hunter Ingram.
