WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Long time no see my friends and fellow foodies. It’s hard to believe we’re already in the middle of March, and even harder to comprehend this is my first post of 2026. Unfortunately life has a tendency of getting in the way of allowing one to do the things they love, but I can say I always have time for St. Patrick’s Day. Whether it’s the food and drink, the music and traditions, there is just something about the holiday that has always spoke to me.
There are number of ways to celebrate in Wilmington, starting with the St. Patrick’s Day Parade along Front Street. There are also a number of Irish pubs you can get a perfectly poured Guinness or a delicious plate of food. Let’s go over a number of those, and I can promise no matter which one you choose, you can consider yourself lucky.
