WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, N.C. (WECT) – Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (CFPUA) has issued a precautionary boil-water advisory for part of North Lumina Avenue and surrounding areas.
CFPUA officials said the advisory will begin at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, while crews replace broken valves and perform maintenance on the water system. Customers might experience a temporary loss of water pressure.
Around 200 customers at the following locations will be impacted:
- The 400 through 1000 blocks of North Lumina Avenue
- All of East Augusta Street
- All of Asheville Street East and West
- All of Fayetteville Street East and West
- All of Oxford Street East and West
- All of Henderson Street East and West
- All of Greensboro Street East and West
