On April 9, communities across North Carolina will come together to celebrate the inaugural Local News Day — a national day of action highlighting the vital role of local journalism.
As part of this effort, the StarNews and other local media outlets are partnering with NC Local, a nonpartisan, nonprofit news organization helping people understand how statewide issues and government decisions affect their communities, for an NC News Cafe at WHQR. We want to bring community members and journalists together to share a cup of coffee and conversation.
