The YMCA of Southeastern North Carolina recognized community leaders on March 26 at its annual chairman’s social, according to a news release.
The following are the Impact Award recipients:
● Impact Award for Volunteerism: Sally Meserole
“Sally Meserole was recognized for more than 30 years of dedicated service to the YMCA. Her impact spans board leadership, program involvement, and volunteer efforts with initiatives such as the Spirit Triathlon, Road Runners, and YMCA TriClub,” the release stated. “A longtime physical education and health teacher, she has inspired generations to lead active, healthy lives and continues to support the YMCA through her leadership and service.”
