A Wilmington man charged in connection with a fatal shooting in the Creekwood community in January has an additional charge.
Don Nixon III, 24, is accused of a Jan. 26 shooting that resulted in the death of Dajour Ellison, 20, of Wilmington, according to New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office records.
According to a news release from the Wilmington Police Department in January, officers found Ellison suffering from a gunshot wound in the 800 block of Emory Street.
