WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office has identified a 74-year-old man who died after falling from a parking deck in downtown Wilmington on Monday afternoon.
Thomas Broffman fell from the Nutt Street parking deck at approximately 1:54 p.m. on April 6, according to the sheriff’s office. The sheriff’s office is investigating the incident as an apparent suicide.
