WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Three Wilmington-area high school students were honored in Washington D.C. for their win in the 2025 Congressional App Challenge for North Carolina’s 7th Congressional District.
U.S. Rep. David Rouzer welcomed Bentley Burton and Edward Burton of Laney High School and Tilghman Reiss of New Hanover High School.
According to a release, the students created “Remember When,” an app designed to help older adults and their families preserve memories. The app uses conversation prompts to help “preserve memories, strengthen connections, and record personal stories.”…
