WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The city of Wilmington held its first public engagement event for a new park planned off Greenville Loop Road, giving neighbors a chance to share their ideas for the 25-acre site.
The city purchased the property in March. It is set to become Wilmington’s newest park.
Residents used hands-on activities to share their preferences, including beads in glass jars and a color wheel. Many said they want to see trails, imaginative play areas, playgrounds, obstacle courses and water features…
