WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The City of Wilmington will be hosting its Demo Day event next week to celebrate National Public Works Week.
According to the city, attendees can get an up-close look at city vehicles, tools, technology and teams from various fields, including:
- Stormwater management
- Traffic engineering
- Urban forestry
- Fleet maintenance
- Solid waste services
- Landscaping
The event will feature live equipment demonstrations, interactive exhibits, educational displays, opportunities to meet City staff and learn about public service careers, and local food trucks.
