A Burgaw development just got one step closer to construction after being initially planned over two decades ago.
Burgaw is seeing a continued trend of more residential development. Several new communities are already on the way within the town limits, and another development was approved by the town council on May 12, 2026.
The developers are calling it Dunbar Subdivision for now, but site plans denote the community as Teal Briar Phase 4. Located on Henry Brown Road in west Burgaw, the development is connected to the existing Tealbriar community — but Dunbar Subdivision will be its own thing, operating with a separate HOA and developed by new developers.
