Massachusetts residents spend the third highest amount in the nation on household bills, according to a new report that analyzes American billing.
Most of that money is soaked up in rent or mortgage payments, according to the report by doxoINSIGHTS. The report uses data from 12 months, spanning tens of millions of actual bill payments from more than 120,000 providers and 45 service categories.
The report analyzes 13 of the most common bills Americans spend on, including housing, utilities, insurance, cable and satellite, and other expenditures. Totally, Americans spend $3.73 trillion on household bills annually…
